I'm an aunt!!!

First and foremost I am an aunt!!! hooray!

This is how the weekend started - we girls got together to watch Pride and Prejudice together (with Sharon being our wonderful hostess) which was great until we lost power because of the ice storm...

Marc and I found out why...

So... to the Graham household to finish the movie and then host those who lost power for supper...

The boys brought the essentials for a power outage - an extra TV for PS2 - the power outage was cruel, cruel... Fortunately everyone's power came back by later that night and everyone went home...

Busy Weekend

Despite my original misgivings I think that the pierced ear looks good on Marc... Just kidding - While at Bob and Andrea's for dinner and a movie - Marc found some powerful magnets to play with.

This is how Bob and Andrea's cat (Nima) regarded me the whole night.

It finally happened - Monte decided to take his feeding schedule into his own paws.... He actually opened his food container - not well enough to be able to eat anything but our system may have to change shortly to become more secure! =)

Marc and I played wait staff to our entire group of friends for our annual formal gathering where we make everyone come out in the cold in fancy shoes. =) Good time was had by all and I gotta say the tie really grew on me...

Marc and Nathan providing some of the entertainment, nothing beats live music by professionals (Jerry also contributed his talents but I didn't have a good pic of the 3 of them).

You can't see it very well but this is the dessert tray for presenting all options - it is not my trip to the buffet! =) PS notice the hair - actually paid a few bucks to have it done - haven't done that since the wedding 6 years ago - it was fun. Also notice all the decor in the room.

Also threw a baby shower this weekend for the trombone players wife - this is the diaper game where you melt different chocolates into diapers and the guest of honor has to guess what each candy bar is - great fun - the best part is the visual (yes she is licking it).

Tana is always thinking of some great idea. We don't know why but this is her new thing to just sit under the lamp like this ... must be the cold weather?

My little Nikon has been recovered, I s'pose I shouldn't be surprised after having spent so many years pranking you have to accept a prank or two yourself... Hope you enjoy the pics for the this week, they were taken by the culprits. (Paybacks, if they didn't want it published they shouldn't of taken the pics...) =)

The main culprit of the event, yes he has a big mouth and yes it gets him in trouble.


The other willing culprit...also someone who gets in trouble. I believe that these boys are crying out for help, needing someone to love them...

Someone who I have on record wanted to further the poor Nikon's torture but fortunately noone heeded her thoughts or little Nikon may never have recovered what her eyes have seen...
