Time Flies

Has it been a month already?! Time flies.

Some highlights:

Playing with mom at our school playground.

Gramps and Grandma came to visit! This is at Fort Pulaski by Tybee Island.

Reading bedtime stories.

Having coveted cornflakes with Gramps for breakfast.

We toured Charleston in style.

Walking the pier while waiting for a table at our restaurant.

Our restaurant in Charleston.

Veterans's Day parade in Savannah.

Exploring at historic Wormsloe near Savannah,GA.

Jaxter was beside himself meeting Buddy at the Savannah Children's book fair.

One of our warriors. The boys made guns at one of the book fair activities.

Marc doing a mini music lesson at Jaxter's preK.

This year they let the kids climb on the tanks instead of just going in them!

This years's twilight tattoo. A little chilly but lots of fun.

Last, but not least, Marc and I attended the 3rd Infantry Division Military Ball. We sat with Marc's Battalion command team, listened to the 3rd ID Band's Jazz Combo and enjoyed an evening out.

Check back after the weekend for TDay pictures.

Halloween

Halloween is getting out of hand with the scary and gruesome. So this year we opted to try the chapel's fall festival. It was fun! The boys worked hard on their costumes (with a little help from Mom and Dad, of course).

This is a favorite book of the boys. It is an electronic one that Marc recorded before deploying. The boys' school wanted kids to wear character costumes. So they picked a character from this book.

This is the character they were trying to mimic. Only his name is not Jack but Zack.

The results:
Walking to school took a little longer than usual. =)

One of the events was sack racing.

We are headed into yet another busy weekend! See you on the other side. =)
