Happy Birthday 'Little' Boy

Desmond turned 3! I know all parents say it but ... I can't believe how big he is! I am proud to be his Mom and to be a part of his very exciting and fast progressing life! Here are some pictures of the much anticipated big day.

Train tracks up and down the stairs, these were very fun ALL day. =)

"What does the cow say, Jax?"
"Mooooooooo!"

Big boy in his 'fancy' clothes.

First night in a big boy bed, first night sans paci? Success.
Even better, he gets up in the morning and comes straight to our bed to say hi. Love it.

Cousins

We had a marvelous week at Nanannette's house playing with cousins this last week. We just got back on Tuesday and I have yet to get my wits about me. The boys actually came down with colds the first day of our adventure but they slowly gained speed and it didn't seem to keep them from enjoying their time with their playmates. It did, however, keep us up at nights for awhile.

We had a lot of time outdoors with the beautiful weather. We went to the zoo. We went to the Corn Maize (which Desmond emphatically declared birthday worthy). We went to church, Desmond making it all the way through. He was quite enamored with the guitars on the big TV. We visited the train table at Barnes and Noble, quite dangerous with 4 little boys vying for train time.
