Update

Well, we know where we will be stationed after Marc's basic and AIT. Georgia! Fort Stewart, Georgia is the largest army installment east of the Mississippi. We will get there sometime in March. There are a lot of other details to be worked out but we are somewhat relieved to have a destination! =) The band there looks great as do a great number of other things positive about the base. I'm sure there will be frustrations, as well, but we will take it in stride and remember that we are blessed. I am so very proud of Marc that he is going to be preforming and doing what he has wanted to do for a long while now.

We also know where we will be in the interim. I have taken a per diem position at the hospital next to my parents house. After I complete my orientation with them I will work about 2 shifts per week. Our little family will actually live with Marc's parents and then we will stay with my parents when I have to put in time at work. Sounds complicated but it will be a good situation.

We have made good headway on packing and will hopefully finish the process within the week. I am working on writing a summary of my New Orleans trip to send to you all and I will include our new address with it.

I hope you are all well. We enjoyed a visit from Gramps and Grandma this last week to have a last nice supper in Wyoming and to start moving stuff to their house.

Have a lovely day! I'll post a couple videos and some pictures soon.

I have not posted in a very long while. For the last 6 weeks, since Marc checked out of school for the last time, we have been spending time as a family and tending to other things that needed to be done for our imminent life changes. So while I feel bad about not posting we have been busy with other necessary things. =)

There isn't much that has changed in our circumstances. We are still moving from Wyoming but are waiting to hear back on an interview that I did to decide *where* to move to. It will most likely be with either my parents or Marc's parents (and we are so grateful to have parents that are willing to let us bunk for an extended period of time).

We still do not know where we will be stationed after Marc's basic training and School of Music training.

I will try to keep you posted as 'things develop' but my priorities are shifting right now so I may not be real timely in my efforts to blog. I haven't even been a good facebook user for over 2 weeks!

I had a great time in New Orelans. We were able to be a blessing and that was good for all of us. It was hot and humid, yes, but somehow those things aren't as noticeable when you are busy doing the Lord's work. I will share a couple of pictures with you and hopefully be back sooner than later to keep y'all up to speed. I will post the entire New Orleans story as soon as I get it written out.

Have a lovely day.
