The one event that is worth mentioning is Marc's recital. He did a marvelous job, as always. Gramps and Gma Marge came down to watch and to make sure the boys are cool enough in their new home. They brought a nice piece of carpet for Jax to fall on when he starts walking and another air conditioner to help with the stuffy nights. We are very grateful for both and enjoyed their visit. Desmond performed well, as always, especially in the food arena. He is always impressing people with how much he eats. He got up and had cereal and juice (like usual), then had a snack and then sat down with us and had a brunch of pancakes, eggs and potatoes.
We have spent a lot of our days lately - "in". Desmond's big thing now is being "in" things. Jax's crib, the kiddie pool, baths, Jax's exersaucer, forts of all kinds.... He also requires Jax to join in his activities. Des asks us to built said fort or put him "in" and then he points to Jax and says "please" and that is our cue to include Jax in the activities. Jax, of course, loves any attention from his big brother. Its a sweet glimpse into, what we prayerfully hope, is the future of our boys.
Jax is mastering the sippy cup and continues to roll like a pro, sit up for all activities and grabs everything in sight! I've never met a baby as grabby as that boy. Rather humorous and definitely keeps us on our toes! Enjoy the pictures.

I know it's hard now, mama, but you're going to love having your two little boys close together - playmates and friends for life (at least that's what I pray for my girls!)
Love you,
Tara
