Children's Museum

A full busy day in Savannah!

Saying good morning to Tana. She's mellowed quite a bit!

Watching big boats from River Street in Savannah.

The Railroad Museum (you'll have to come visit soon, Gramps!).

Dear Gramps, please come visit us soon so that Mom and Dad will let me take a ride on the train! Love, Des and Jax.

The top level of Children's Museum, you know you live in the south when the Children's Museum is a year-round outdoor venue! =D This is the music 'exhibit'.
Touch tank, no animals just fun digging.

The boys favorite activity - big blocks.

Mister to cool off in, a couple playground type activities and the (as Marc and I call it) Zen garden.

The reading nook, Desmond is not sleeping he is being silly.
The garden.... this little boy and Desmond were playing a version of wizard's chess (read: fairly violent).

A better view of garden - the reading nook is behind those arches. We needed Nana and Grandma to tell us what all the plants and flowers were - all I could really recognize were the venus fly traps. =)

Jaxter finding his way out of their always changing maze.
Building a fort with new friends.

The museum as a whole - maze, exhibits (blocks, painting with water, cars, huge leggos, dress up, etc) and then garden. We plan on making this a regular activity in our year to come. =)
