Wow! Busy, busy week!

We have been on the go all week!

We had some Easter fun with an egg hunt here at home with clues to a beach bucket of activities.

A little blurry but they are as dressed up as they get! =)

Desmond's K class had a field trip to Hunter Cattle Co. Jaxter and I tagged along for fun. The gals running the tour were impressed with what Des knew about the workings of all things ranch. We even found a couple of 2-day old kittens!

Getting up close and personal with the farm life.

Gathering eggs.

Learning about the "moodiness of chickens."

Baby chics.

On a hay ride. I gotta say this trip could have been a nightmare for Des with his allergies. I was, however, impressed with his allergy 'cocktail' that we have been using. That and he is getting better about not rubbing his eyes.

We attended a concert given by one of the 3ID Band ensembles. The boys danced the entire time. It was a great show! So much talent.

THEN

On Friday we had STEMposium at The boys' school. This was an all day event with many varied presentations about science, math, engineering, and technology.

Helicopters landing to start the day off.

Watching EOD robots preform.

Picnic outside with class.

To top our week off Jaxter lost his first tooth! =)

The tooth fairy skips our house so we play a hide n seek version of "tooth fairy" with the tooth instead. Boy hides tooth. Parent has to find tooth while boy is sleeping. If boy catches parent looking for tooth then the dollar doubles. Otherwise they just find a dollar in place of the tooth. So far we are parents 7, boys 0.

And we are back to our routine this morning albeit a little tired.

Our big plans this week include a promotion ceremony for Marc!! =)
