Repeat performance.

If you have been following my blog for awhile you may remember that last year Desmond dressed up as his Dad for Halloween. Well, this year it seemed appropriate to repeat that performance for several reasons: 1. we don't really get into Halloween so something simple is good 2. Desmond was *super* excited to put a tie on like Dad does everyday 3. Both boys are still too little to be dealing with complex costumes. We stopped by some friends' house just as much to say hello and catch up as to say trick or treat. We also stopped by the Rec Center to see their Harvest Festival. At the very begining of the event there is hardly anyone there so we went right at the start and Desmond played of few of the games without lines or crowds. Once people starting showing up we headed home for the fastest dinner/bath/bed process we've ever done. It was a big day that Desmond had a great time with. Here are some pictures of our day as well as some other fall moments:

The best picture I have of the two together.

The best picture I have of Desmond - he just won't be still! And yes, that is a bruise on his head...true to form he gave himself a good bonk before a photo event.

Jaxter looking dapper.

Jax loving his higher (taller) outlook on life.

Snack time.

Playing with his fall pumpkin.

Desmond trying out Dad's drum set.

Jaxter's turn!

Playing on the slide together.

Our (unsuccessful) attempt at a photo opp on a beautiful fall day.

As much as Desmond tries to share, Monte just isn't into playing with toys.....

Woman, for some reason seeing you in a photo with the two boys rocked my world: I've never seen you in real life as a mom! Sad, sad state of affairs!

Anyway, great to see *you* and the kiddos...I love you!
